The Stavanger region has been European Capital of Culture in 2008. Throughout the year, with our vision OPEN PORT, we created over 160 projects incoporating more than 1100 events. More than 875 000 people shared our wide programme - we did as we promised, bringing people together to share new and lasting experiences.
