What is the potensial of wind-power? How can offshore wind enable Europe to become carbon neutral? Can Norway take an active role in this, and how can we make a difference? 

These questions will be discuessed at the national offshore wind confrence; High Wind 2020.

Who's participates 

At the conference science, business and particpants from other parts of the society, will meet to discuss new solutions in energy production. 

We have gotten input from from partners from Bergen to Agder, and the conference is developed in cooperation with Norwep, Norwegian offshore wind cluster, Norwegian energy solutions, ONS, SR-bank, DNB, Næringsforening and Greater Stavanger.

Important for the region

The conference will be vil bli held in November 2020, and the theme for both days will be how we can take an active role in the development of wind-power.  

Especially offshore wind power is interesting for the Stavanger-region, as this can create new possibilities for the local industry.

Head of Value Creation in Stavanger kommune Anne Woie is looking forward to the conferance, and says:

- It is exiting that we have landed a program of this quality, and that we have created a fellowship around the planning and execution of the conference. This creates a foundation for a broad cooperation, and shows determenation to positon ourself in the new marked.
