If you wish to cover The Tall Ships Races in Stavanger as a writer or photographer, you can get accreditation.
Press Centre
Accredited photographers and journalists have access to the Press Centre at Lars Hertervigs gate 4 (main entrance to Stavanger Swimming Hall).
Our communications team will be on hand to assist you throughout the event. The Press Centre provides workstations, free Wi-Fi and light refreshments.

- Thursday: 10:00 – 18:00
- Friday: 10:00 – 17:00
- Saturday: 10:00 – 12:00
RIB Boat Tours
Accredited photographers and journalists can book a RIB boat tour for unique photo opportunities in the harbour and among the Tall Ships.
Each tour lasts approximately 45 minutes and has capacity for up to four participants.
Available tour times
- Wednesday 22 July: 12:00–14:00
- Thursday 23 July: 12:00–14:00
- Friday 24 July: 12:00–14:00

Press Boat for the Parade of Sail
Accredited media representatives can register for a place on the press boat during the Parade of Sail on Saturday 25 July.
The boat departs from Stavanger city centre at 11:30.
Registration takes place at the Press Centre upon arrival.
